Hueman Series

In this project, Artist, Henry Akrong selects submitted portrait images via Instagram at random, and paints the individuals in a single color(hue), to be featured in the collection.

Anyone on Instagram can participate- follow the @huemanseries page on Instagram, and submit your portrait image via Instagram DM to stand a chance of being featured in the collection.

Artworks are painted using acrylic paint on 250GSM paper and the average time spent on each artwork is 5hrs 30mins.

This project will be ongoing until the Artist feels the need to end it. The goal however is to unite individuals from all walks of life to commemorate the inherent beauty of our common humanity. The artist firmly believes that notwithstanding our disparities, we are a singular collective, embodying one essence, one hue, one radiance
